Hello TriCountyTrail members,
I like the enthusiasm of the members.  Are 2-wheeled machines allowed?  I ride a WR250F.

Thanks

Hey Jr,
Limestone was a good time.  You were right about the rednecks!  I told one of my buddies that you were already done riding, and he said that he saw you guys heading to the trail when we were walking out of preregistration.  It took them a bit to find our preregistration forms.  He should have told me so that I could have flagged you down.  You guys had a good head start on us.  Let me know when you get your quad fixed.

I dont know how I missed you.. I walked back in the other building to look for you after I registered, and never saw you.  Im sure you would have seen me too. O well.   Yea  Some jerks went flying by us on bikes. One of the guys spun out and kicked up rocks at my friend tim.   Then twards the end. Where those HUGE mounds are are. That same guy wiped out there, Hit a tree and had to be taked out by medics.   WHen they finally let us down that trail we went by him and We were laughing at him.. I told his friend as we went by..  Thats what he gets for being an asshole. hahah Cheesy

Some guy wiped out in front of us in Limestone.  He jumped back on the quad and took off.  When we looked on the ground, his chicken dinner wrist band was laying there, and it obviously ripped off from the spill.  I wish I could have found him to say thanks - that free chicken dinner was delicious!

it will be 3 years this october that the trail behind hebelers has been closed. i was there with bill park the day thompson locked the gate. let me say the club has tried many times and ways to reopen that trail with no luck. DO NOT ever think it is easy to reopen a trail after it has been closed. i talked to bill park about this after the meeting and the club is still trying to find a land owner that will let us get around thompsons land. thompson will NEVER let us back there again. it is easy to sit here on this forum and criticize the club, doing the real work out on the trail and trying to add trail and talk to land owners is never easy.

Get me some names and addresses and I'd be more than happy to talk to land owners. lol
Making new trails is fun as well, I don't find that being real work either.
Realistically if its coming onto 3 years, everyone has been talked to and approached by now so it seems more realistic to post that it is unlikely the trail will be open again. I just hate beating around the bush, and had I known this had been a 3 year project to reopen the trail, I wouldn't have even asked because I would already know its a lost cause.

Ok so I'm not losing my mind already. lol

Hearing "were looking into it" just reminds me of my old job and the supervisors idea of neglecting something. lol

Had a good time at Limestone.  Too bad we split up chris... At least I had 3 other people to ride with,  Couldnt believe all the people out there  WOW Shocked..
Renegade, we never made it out to Majestic.. We were on our way, but as were were loading our quads.  One of the guys Drive belt broke, and My breaks just stopped working.. SO after a few mins discussing it,  we just decided to head back and chill.   If I get my breaks all set and the other guys gets his belt fixed before  Laborday weekend.   We were talking about possibly doing a trip to majestic then.
